Meet Our Attorneys
Charles "Chuck" Pope Jr.
I resigned from my position as an Assistant District Attorney General in the fall of 2004 and started The Pope Law Offices after working in both the private and public sectors for several years. The goal was to allow the flexibility to do public interest work and be generous to a number of clients and organizations that share our values.
This goal has been accomplished time and time again. The successful estate and injury practice has allowed the firm to be at the forefront of promoting and protecting constitutional rights and Christian values. I have successfully litigated multiple civil rights claims and recently protected the rights and job security of many individuals who refused the forced or coerced vaccinations through their employment.
With many years of experience, the depth of our competency is both broad and deep. Whether you need help with planning for the transfer of your assets to your family, dealing with a criminal charge, or starting, buying, maintaining, or selling a business, our firm has the legal know-how to get the job done.

Shahen Matthew Salili
Born in Kansas City, Kansas, to an immigrant father and American mother, I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee from the age of eight. I went to Ooltewah High School and spent some time at Georgia Tech before finding my true legal calling. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and my Law Degree at UTK University of Tennessee-Knoxville, School of Law.
Until 2022, I worked at Legal Aid of East Tennessee, mostly representing victims of domestic violence. After that, I had the great privilege of being invited to work at The Pope Law Offices, where I enjoy assisting clients in various areas of Law.
The most important thing in my life is my daughter, Ivy, and my inspiration is my father, who passed away in 2019.
